Dear Snooki,

Congrats on the pregnancy!

I have a confession.
When I first found out you were preggers, I was one on the first to judge you.
"What is she thinking?"
"How irresponsible!"
"OMG...Another train weck in the works!"
Then I realized something.
Once upon a time...I was you.
Minus the big hair, the excessive tanning and the TV crew.
Yep....Once upon a time, in a land far far away, this mama partied like a Rock star.
Back when bottles, tummy time and rockin&nappin' had nothing to do with babies.
And you know what?
My past not only shaped me as the woman I am today, but made me the Mama I proud to be.
How can too many shots and temporary insanity help you in the most Important Journey of your life?

1. It's out of your system.
You partied like a Rock Star. And then some. You know how shitty extreme hangovers feel like. You also know you can end up in the slammer for poor decision making. And too much Tequila. You are older and wiser. Good for you.

2. Teenage years got nothin' on you!
If it's a girl...
You will know the bad guidos before they come knockin' on your door..And pretend they don't bother you to limit their appeal (while secretly blocking all access!). Having dealt with an eating disorder yourself, You'll be able to guide, support and teach your daughter to love herself for who she is.
If it's a boy...
You have the power to raise a respectful, responsible and outgoing young man. You know what too much juice looks like, what unprotected smooshing can lead to and most of all...How to fist pump responsibly.

3. You'll be a fun mama!
Note: Fun mama is a little different than fun guidette but feels just as good. Even better.
You'll be the playground mama who shows as much excitement for the bouncy house, Elmo's World and first giggles and belly laughs as you did for juice heads, an orange free tan and the Beer Bong...Go mama, go!

Now...Let me make this clear.
Motherhood will kick your ass, more so then a bottle of Mescal on a Mexico Beach.
You will doubt your every move.
You will hurt when the baby hurts.
You might even feel defeated more than you feel elated.
But here's the secret to motherhood Snooki...There are no one size fits all rules.
Just like there are no one size fits all mamas.
Don't let your past define your best role yet.
Use it as a compass to navigate your new Journey.

If anyone could have predicted this mama's future 10 years ago, she would have been the least likely out of the Girlz to be the one "Married with children. And stable".

Prove 'em all wrong.
I have.

Namaste xox
