The battle of Barre

The battle to sleep
The battle to stay seated when eating
The battle to get dressed
The battle to walk to the bus and not run
The battle to walk up the bus
The battle to walk back home and not run
The battle to eat lunch without jumping, screaming and chasing
The battle to go play outside
The battle not to splash in the bath
The battle to share
The battle not to yell
The battle to use words
The battle not to push, shove or hit
The battle to not around in circles in the kitchen
The battle to not race back and forth down the hall
The battle to sit down and read some books
The battle to sit down and color
The battle to not bang doors
The battle to stop jumping over the couches
The battle to listen
The battle to brush teeth
The battle to fake a smile
The battle not to be bitter
The battle to fight anger and resentment
The battle to make sense of it all
The battle to to cope with feeling oh so proud and then oh so defeated
The battle not to let others make you feel like crap
The battle to keep the faith
The battle to remain positive just 5% of the time...When you can
The battle to not compare
The battle to not isolate yourself
The battle not to blame yourself
The battle to have the courage to start all over again...Tomorrow
The battle...To stay Sane.

Mama's Top 5...

Clues for Mama Burnout:

1. You secretly wish the Budget will not pass...So you can have the car.

2. You envy the Old Single Cat Lady.

3. You count the days until school will start. Real full-time school: 638.

4. You cry on your walk back from the school bus...When there is no school.

5. You want to kick people who say "it is all worth it!You will see!" Thanks. Now not only do I feel guilty for thinking this sucks but now I have to wait another x number of years until it doesn't?

Note: This mama LOVES her boys. ADORES them. Life circumstances just make it very difficult for this mama to see the light at the end of the tunnel sometimes.

The buddhists say nothing is permanent. Thank Buddha.
