Good morning!
Day 3 in Vegas...
The twins seem to have gotten over their jet lag (got some much needed sleep Last night and woke up at 5 NOT 3!)after such a big exciting adventure of traveling!
Dan and I are LOVING Vegas: Morning walk with niece N who gave us a lovely tour to the gorgeous views, shopping at the Super Wal-Mart (groceries, liquor store and toys all in one spot!), wrapping presents with SIL S and niece M while Dan enjoys the surrond sounded TV with brother L.
It occured to me last night how being surrunded with family is such a gift not only for the boys but for both Dan and I...
Just being able to hang out with my SIL in her bedroom and chatting about mariage while Dan chills out with his B downstairs provided us with some much needed relaxation and relief!
As North Americans we are now living further and further from our families and no wonder we are so lost!
Would life be perfect of we lived closer to each other?
Probably not.
BUT it would be much more enjoyable for all of us as chatting, sharing and supporting each other wouldn't be just a sporadic event but a regular oppurtunity to savor...
Simply everyday.
What a tempting thought...

5 years...
2 cars, one appartment, our first home, 3 jobs,Newlyweds, new friends, old friends, Virginia Beach, Australia, NYC, weddings, new babies, divorces, new lives, happiness, anger, frustration, joy, despair, hope, love, acceptance, hurt, bickering,loyalty,family feuds, broken friendships, renkindled friendships, 2 pregnancies, one miscariage, a twin pregnancy, 2 bundle of joys, New parents, new roles,2 screaming children, 2 Wild Things acting all sorts of crazy, burned out, need a drink...silence...Are we there yet?
As we are getting ready for our Vegas Vacation where we will renew our 5 year Wedding vows I am not only humbled by the last 5 years, but inspired and hopefull...
Inspired by what we have accomplished together and hopefull that whatever life decides to throw at us...We will take it!
We might not be thrilled, or smile, or even look happy at life sometimes but we embrace it and we move forward...

T is for Thank You!
Dear Sesame Street,
You have been in my life now for over 25 years...My most memorable memories involve: Wanda the Witch, 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-11-12, La Di Da Di Da what's the name of that song, Lady Bugs ate at the lady bug Pik-Nik, Can't you see there's a bird on me? and of course C is for Cookie and much more!
In the past couple of years you re-entered my life to animate, educate and entertain my own children, aka Wild Thing 1 and 2.
Although some of your characters have evolved and new ones have been introduced, I am happy to report you are still quite welcome in our home...Everyday.
Here is my Thanks to you...
Elmo...Thanks for always making the twins smile and giving me a nice 15 minute break during Elmo's world. Your voice might be annoying to some but trust me YOUR voice is like a melody compared to the whinning, screaming and fighting that would occur if you werent there by this point in our morning!
Big Bird...Thanks for reminding me that all is not what is seems thanks to Mr.Snuffy...
Cookie Monster...Thanks for letting me feel ok if I do overindulge in a cookie...once in a while..well maybe more than that...ok next!
Ernie&Birt...Thanks for giving me hope that two boys can in fact live together, love each other and actually enjoy each other's company...!
Grover...Thanks for keeping us informed on how to be polite, make friends and my favorite...giving hugs...
The Count...Thanks for helping the boys learn how to count...A much needed activity!
Gordon, Maria, Bob, Luis and Olivia...Thanks for being such great role models who not only accompanied me through childhood but now hold my hand as a mom and remind me that cooperation, sharing, telling the truth and using your words can make everything A-okay!

Green Mountain Multiples Club...Let's go!
Good morning,
As I read my post yesterday and my wonderfull "To Do" List, I realized I forgot to prioritize a project that is so close to my heart...The Green Mountain Multiples Club!!!
About a year ago, I decided the twin mailing list I inherited from the anesteologist at the hospital wasnt serving its goal of "supporting twin families".
So I decided to do something about it and with the help of other twin moms created a yahoo!group, organized mommy and family outings and go the logistic of the club going including registering our group with the National Organization of Mothers of Twins Club.
We still arent where we want to be but here are some goals
1. Organize and facilitate a Support group where parents can talk over a cup of coffee while the twins play.
2. Tweak our website and make it really cool!
3. Get the word out so we can increase our memberships!
4. Continue to support each other as we face the joys and challenges of raising multiples!
5. Offer workshops including everything from finding out you are expecting multiples to dealing with the terrible twos!!!
So, add this to my list :)

I DID IT!!!
Good Morning everyone :)
Lots and lots of snow is falling as I am typing away looking over at the twins watching their new DVD "Colors" from Bumble Bee...I finally bought into their marketing scheme which boasts "talking in the next 2 weeks!"...
I figure it can't hurt...and secretly crossing my fingers it will work like the Speech Fairy!
Back to my post...
I am proud to report that my first semester back at school was a success! No grades yet, but I am confident about my work ;)
A little recap of the semester...
Twins went to a nearbt home daycare on Mon and Wed from 7:30 to 2:30...Came back home, enjoyed a cup of coffee and enjoyed some you tube music videos (Viva Guns and Roses and Bon Jovi!)
I will say what I am most proud of was the fact that I started my homework at 8:30 and just plowed through my work until 12:30 to earn my shower and Days of our lives @ 1...(Hey! I am a behaviorist...Must choose your positive reinforcers wisely!!)
Then walked over to pick up the boys and always so happy to see their smiles running over to the door saying "Maman!!" planting some very wet kisses and hugging me warmly...:)
That said, I can now write:
English: Check!
History: Check!
Sociology: Check!
Total credits: 9
Credits left: around 12...(around 4 more classes I think?)
Short-term Goal: BA in Professional Studies
Long-term Goal: MA in Ed (Applied Behavior Analysis) or Speech, language, pathology...Still time to choose what I want to be when I grow up ;)
Am registered for next semester, classes start at the end of January, what are my plans until the next semester?
1) Paint and finish the basement
2) Organize all the lose papers in the house and figure out a way to keep it ORGANIZED!
3) Scrapbook (digital of course!)
4) Crafts, baking and playing with the boys oustside!
5) VIVA...LAS VEGAS!!!
Leaving in 11 days (who's counting?!)and so excited!!!
Dan and I will be renewing our 5 year wedding vows with Elvis and it's gonna be FAAAAAAAAAAABBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBUUUUUUUUUUUULOUSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!
