We are family...

Good morning!

Day 3 in Vegas...
The twins seem to have gotten over their jet lag (got some much needed sleep Last night and woke up at 5 NOT 3!)after such a big exciting adventure of traveling!
Dan and I are LOVING Vegas: Morning walk with niece N who gave us a lovely tour to the gorgeous views, shopping at the Super Wal-Mart (groceries, liquor store and toys all in one spot!), wrapping presents with SIL S and niece M while Dan enjoys the surrond sounded TV with brother L.
It occured to me last night how being surrunded with family is such a gift not only for the boys but for both Dan and I...
Just being able to hang out with my SIL in her bedroom and chatting about mariage while Dan chills out with his B downstairs provided us with some much needed relaxation and relief!
As North Americans we are now living further and further from our families and no wonder we are so lost!
Would life be perfect of we lived closer to each other?
Probably not.
BUT it would be much more enjoyable for all of us as chatting, sharing and supporting each other wouldn't be just a sporadic event but a regular oppurtunity to savor...
Simply everyday.
What a tempting thought...
xoxo
